Bervann GIVING BACK Week:
Supporting Minority and Underprivileged Students through Educational Grants.
Supporting our nonprofit Bervann Foundation raise funds to sponsor tuition fees for students of minority and underprivileged backgrounds who have shown great determination, strong work ethic and have been able to secure at least a portion of the funding through their own efforts, but still lack funding.
Our February Spotlight Student is Mr. Kai Kawashima, a talented young man who overcame the challenges of moving across 3 countries during school, adapting to studies in 2 languages and 3 cultures. A low-income student of visible minority, he dedicated himself to his academics, arts, and sports, excelling in all three throughout his high school career.
He gained acceptance in the prestigious Digipen Institute of Technology, the 3rd most difficult school to get into in Washington State with an acceptance rate of just 34%, ranked among the top 5 schools for Game Design in 2020 by The Princeton Review. Now in his second year of studies, he is maintaining a 3.85 GPA and has made the Dean’s list for 2 semesters. Despite earning multiple scholarships and taking student loans, he is still unable to fully finance his tuition.
The Bervann Foundation wishes to support students like Kai who deserve the education they have earned through hard work and exceptional discipline yet cannot afford it.
Help us support Kai and other promising students to better their futures and fulfill their academic dreams. To contribute, please Donate or BID on Affordable Auction items that we have selected for you.
